Every MyRedLink link points at our redirect service. When a visitor taps it:
We detect whether the click is coming from Reddit's in-app browser.
If it is, the click is pushed out to the visitor's default browser (Safari or Chrome).
The visitor lands on your destination URL, and the click is recorded in your analytics.
There is a very brief in-between page while this happens. You control how that page (and the link preview on Reddit) looks with the Advanced settings on each link: title, description, and preview image.
Link previews for Reddit, Discord, Telegram, and other platforms use the same title, description, and image you set on the link.
